Q: What would happen if an accused avoids the summon in case under section 138 of negotiable instrument act ?

Ans: If the summons are not served on the accused or an accused deliberately avoids taking summons, the court can issue the bailable warrant against the accused. In such a situation, the procedure described earlier will be followed.
